the potential allies you’ll meet along your journey.
you.
YOUR STORY HAS NOT YET BEEN WRITTEN.
Wendy is the first companion you'll meet on your journey, as she's your cellmate at Trinidos. She comes across as deadpan and uncaring due to her time spent as a sell-sword prior to her imprisonment. Records of her earlier working years indicate that nobody cares more strongly for their companions than her, but her new demeanor suggests that the allies she's lost have taken a heavy toll. Perhaps that caring woman is still inside. Perhaps you could be the one to reach her.
As a berserker, Wendy specializes in offense. Her priorities in battle lie in dealing damage and lots of it. The swings of her mighty axe can topple even the mightiest of foes, though she struggles to take too many hits due to her lower longevity. The magical prowess of a berserker is lower than any other class. After all, why waste your time with spellcasting and rituals when an axe does just as well?
Wendy's magical specialties lie in the domains of Fire and Sin. It appears that her berserker tendencies of offense first, everything else last has influenced her magical abilities.

AYAKA
Ranger
Ayaka is a potential companion on your journey, though exactly where or if you'll meet is unknown. She previously served under the Kingdom of Poneca, attempting to make a name for herself within the archery division. The deposition of the Ponecan king, however, left her wandering as the military forces were swiftly replaced with lackeys of the usurper. Now, Ayaka lives as a huntress living off the bounty of the land.
As a ranger, Ayaka's skills with a bow are unparalleled. Her long-distance attacks are brutal, though close-quarters combat is nearly impossible for her. Rangers have average magical prowess, and they tend to prefer keeping their allies buffed to dealing magical damage themselves.
Ayaka's magical specialties lie in the domains of Earth and Lightning. It appears that her current nomadic lifestyle and attunement to the natural world have influenced her magical abilities.
Henry is a potential companion on your journey, though where or if you'll meet is unknown. Henry was raised by a noble couple in Sra Cabko, living a lavish lifestyle in a drastic contrast to the surrounding poverty of his fellow nationals. Though initially believing that his compatriots' poverty was a result of their own lack of ambition, he soon came to realize that his own family's wealth was built off the exploitation of laborers. Feeling betrayed, Henry left his family and pledged his services as a knight to a group of small villages, placing his life on the line to ensure their safety. He's begun training a number of village teens as protectors in the case of his death, but has so far refused to allow any of them to fight in his place or alongside him for fear of endangering their lives.
As a knight, Henry specializes in taking hits and dealing damage in return. His armor is rumored to be impervious, though this is compensated for by his slow speed and low magical prowess.
Henry's magical specialties lie in the domains of Divinity and Sin. It appears that his devotion to the protection of the villages and regretful family history have influenced his magical abilities.

Hailing from the scholar nation of Alchnost, Maxwell was an outsider within his own nation. His family were descendants of ancient spear masters, and so Maxwell was raised in the martial arts rather than the typical arcane arts of his compatriots. Though his family held a small temple within which his training was conducted, it was destroyed due to the Alchnost’s constant disasters and his parents’ lives were lost. Initially wishing to rebuild his ancestors’ home, the leaders of the nation denied this process, believing that Alchnost must not be home to any who shun the arts of magic. Maxwell has spent much of his life secretly training Alchnostan citizens who have little ability in the arcane just as he does. His current living space is rumored to be among the mountains of Alchnost, hidden underground so as to avoid the snooping of the nation’s leaders that deny his ambitions and his family traditions.
As a lancer, Maxwell specializes in the use of spears, preferring to keep his enemies at a distance. He holds little magic abilities, though what he lacks he makes up for in physical prowess and ability to dodge incoming hits.

After this realization, Fukase devoted his time to thievery, stealing from those who had more than enough to keep their families healthy and distributing his plunder among the poorer families of the nation. His name is known only as a rumor, and many of the elite speak warily of a lightning-fast thief hiding amongst the shadows.
As a thief, Fukase is skilled in the use of daggers, and no lock is unbreakable within his grasp. Though fairly weak and frail in combat, his speed is unmatched by any other class, as is his ability of dealing critical damage to foes' weak points.
